TAIPEI- Starlux Airlines (JX), a Taiwanese luxury carrier, plans to boost its North American operations by increasing flight frequencies between Los Angeles (LAX), Seattle (SEA), and Taipei (TPE).
The strategic expansion aims to enhance connectivity and provide more travel options for passengers between the United States and Taiwan.
Starlux Los Angeles and Seattle Flights
Starlux Airlines (JX) will significantly expand its North American operations by increasing flight frequencies between the United States and Taiwan.
Starting December 22, 2024, the carrier will enhance its Los Angeles route by offering 10 weekly flights to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
The new schedule introduces additional flights on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, complementing its existing daily service. The Los Angeles route will feature flights JX0005 and JX0001, departing at 22:20 from LAX and arriving at 05:30+2 at TPE, with return flights operating at similar times.

On March 1, 2025, Starlux will further extend its network by launching daily flights between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
This expansion more than doubles the current capacity and represents a strategic growth initiative. Leveraging its partnership with Alaska Airlines (AS), the carrier will provide seamless connectivity from over 100 US cities to Seattle, creating convenient access to Taipei and 24 Asian destinations.
The Seattle route will feature flights JX0031 and JX0032, with departure and arrival times optimized for traveler convenience.

Strong Growth in Trans-Pacific
According to the IATA, international passenger demand from the U.S. to the Asia-Pacific region grew by 10.6% in August 2024 compared to August 2023. This growth was driven by strong leisure and corporate travel activity.
