American Airlines Flight Schedule Changes

American Airlines (AA) expands its 2025 international network with fresh routes and upgraded planes. The airline strengthens its global reach through extended seasonal flights. These updates deliver better travel options for passengers worldwide.

Boston (BOS)

American Airlines introduces an upgrade for the Boston–London Heathrow (BOS–LHR) route.

From 17 April 25 to 28 April 25, the current Boeing 777-200ER will be replaced by a Boeing 777-300ER, offering enhanced passenger comfort. This route continues to operate with 1 daily flight.

Charlotte (CLT)

Charlotte sees a significant expansion in international connectivity for Summer 2025. A new daily route to Athens (CLT–ATH) begins on 05 June 25, operated by a Boeing 777-200ER, marking a milestone in connecting North Carolina to Greece.

Additionally, flights to London Heathrow (CLT–LHR) remain robust. One of the three daily flights (AA730/733) is operated by a Boeing 777-300ER, while the other two continue with the Boeing 777-200ER.

These changes, effective 30 March 25, ensure diverse options for transatlantic travel.

Chicago O’Hare (ORD)

Chicago O’Hare sees notable changes in its transatlantic network:

  • The seasonal service to Barcelona (ORD–BCN) is extended until 24 October 25, operated by a Boeing 787-8.
  • The Dublin (ORD–DUB) route is revised to operate seasonally from 05 June 25 to 05 October 25, also using a Boeing 787-8.
