KOCHI- Air Kerala has inaugurated its corporate office in Kochi, marking a significant step toward launching flight operations by June 2025.

According to Madhyamam Online, the office will create job opportunities and boost the local economy, supporting regional development.

Establishing headquarters in Kochi aligns with Air Kerala’s vision to connect Kerala with national and international destinations.

The airline plans to capitalise on Kochi’s growing importance as an international travel hub, particularly for routes connecting Kerala to Middle Eastern countries where a large Kerala diaspora resides.

Air Kerala will operate both domestic and international flights, initially concentrating on regional routes. The airline will serve short and medium-haul destinations, making travel more affordable for Kerala residents and visitors.

The Times of India reports that a key objective is meeting the needs of migrant workers who frequently travel between Kerala and Gulf countries.
