Turkish Aerospace and Embraer MoU

Turkish Aerospace, based in Ankara, and Embraer, headquartered in São José dos Campos, Brazil, are evaluating a broad industrial partnership.

The MoU between Turkish Aerospace and Embraer focuses on evaluating Türkiye’s role in the production of Embraer’s E2 series, which includes the E190-E2 and E195-E2 commercial jets.

Turkish Aerospace brings advanced capabilities in composite and metallic structure manufacturing, fuselage assembly, and aircraft painting—key areas for expanding Embraer’s supply chain.

Embraer’s strategy involves diversifying its supplier base to meet increasing global demand, particularly in Asia and Europe.

By partnering with Turkish Aerospace, the Brazilian firm gains access to a cost-competitive, high-skilled industrial base while supporting Türkiye’s ambition to become a major aerospace hub.

Key Areas of Partnership:

  • Component Manufacturing: Turkish Aerospace may produce critical structural components for the E2 series.
  • Final Assembly: Potential establishment of an E2 final assembly line in Türkiye.
  • R&D Cooperation: Joint development of next-generation aviation technologies.
  • MRO Services: Expanding maintenance, repair, and overhaul capabilities in the region.
