Spirit Airlines Adds Three New Routes from Chattanooga

DIANA BEACH- Spirit Airlines (NK) has launched nonstop service from Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA), connecting the Scenic City to three major destinations: Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Newark (EWR), and Orlando (MCO).

The new routes provide affordable options for travelers and seamless one-stop connections to Latin America and the Caribbean through Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), expanding Spirit’s growing domestic network.

Spirit Airlines 3 New Routes from Chattanooga

Spirit Airlines’ entry into Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA) marks a milestone for both the airline and the city.

The new nonstop services, which began on June 4 and June 5, 2025, strengthen Chattanooga’s regional connectivity while enhancing travel flexibility for residents and visitors.

  • Orlando International Airport (MCO): 4x weekly service from June 4
  • Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR): 4x weekly service from June 4
  • Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL): 3x weekly service from June 5

The airline’s new routes are expected to attract leisure travelers heading to Florida and the Northeast, while also positioning CHA as a viable regional hub with links to Spirit’s broader network of Caribbean and Latin American destinations via FLL.

April Cameron, President and CEO of Chattanooga Airport, emphasized the importance of this launch for regional travelers. “Partnering with Spirit Airlines marks a significant step forward in expanding travel options for our region,” she said, noting the economic and logistical benefits of direct connectivity to key cities.

This move also aligns with CHA’s strategic focus on increasing inbound and outbound tourism, enhancing the airport’s relevance as a Southeastern travel hub.
