RIYADH- The most awaited flagship global carrier, Riyadh Air (RX), is set to launch its operations in the second half of 2025. The airline has made all the basic arrangements and is also actively hiring aviation personnel ahead of its launch.
Earlier this month, the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) granted an Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC), a certificate to start commercial air transport operations.

Iconic Uniform
Last year, Riyadh Air unveiled its first fashion collection during Paris Haute Couture Week in collaboration with Saudi designer Ashi, founder of ASHI Studio. The collection showcases uniforms for the airline’s frontline team members, blending luxury fashion with aviation functionality.
The exclusive fashion line features dozens of male and female designs, with 15 key looks revealed during the prestigious fashion event. Riyadh Air, fully owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), presented a collection that includes cashmere outerwear, fine wool dresses and trousers, custom leather footwear, amethyst earrings, and distinctive pillbox hats.

The designs draw inspiration from 1950s airline fashion—often considered aviation’s “golden age”—while incorporating contemporary styling elements that reflect the airline’s forward-thinking brand identity.
Designer Ashi integrated Riyadh Air’s visual elements throughout the collection, including the brand’s iconic canopy twist pattern in the garments’ lines, shadows, and silhouettes.
Coats and jackets displayed at the Paris launch feature the same modern lines present in the Riyadh Air logo, creating a cohesive visual connection between the airline’s branding and its fashion identity.

Expected Salary
The compensation framework includes a basic salary of 5,500 SAR ( INR 1,25,555 or 1,465 USD) monthly, supplemented by block hour payments of 75 SAR per hour.
