A further arrest has been made in connection with the damaging of two military aircraft at RAF Brize Norton. A 22-year-old man with no fixed address was detained on Friday in Bedford on suspicion of terrorism-related offences.

The man was arrested under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000 for the alleged commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism. Counter Terrorism Policing South confirmed he remains in police custody.

£7 million damage to Voyager planes

Two Voyager aircraft were damaged at the Oxfordshire RAF base on 20th June in an incident that caused £7 million worth of damage. The action was later claimed by the activist group Palestine Action.

The Government has moved to proscribe Palestine Action under anti-terror laws following the group's claim of responsibility for the incident. This represents the latest development in the ongoing investigation into the attack on the military aircraft.

Four people already charged

Four individuals were charged last month in relation to the same incident at the military base. The investigation into the damage to the RAF aircraft continues as authorities pursue all those believed to be involved in the attack.
