Müritz under ice – Germany's largest inland lake frozen over

Ice as far as the eye can see: Germany's largest inland lake – the Müritz in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania – is frozen over.

Thirty years ago, cars even drove on the lake, but it is not thick adequate for that at present.
