Etihad A321neo to Phuket

The unique configuration of A321neo offers a three-class cabin layout with 160 seats: 2 in First Class (or Business Plus), 14 in Business Class, and 144 in Economy, Aeroroutes reported.

As of August 2024, Etihad has taken delivery of six A321neo aircraft powered by fuel-efficient CFM LEAP 1A engines. One of them features the special 20th Anniversary livery.

The Entry Into Service (EIS) process involved multiple departments working collaboratively to integrate the new aircraft type. This A321N introduces several firsts for Etihad and the UAE aviation landscape:

It establishes a new fleet type for both the airline and the country. Etihad now operates two distinct A321 variants: the A321N and A321NX. The airline offers three different cabin configurations across its A321 fleet, catering to various route requirements and passenger preferences.

Etihad deploys two different liveries on its A321 aircraft, showcasing the airline’s evolving brand identity. The rapid integration of six aircraft within three months demonstrates Etihad’s operational efficiency and adaptability. Abu Dhabi-based carrier will take delivery of 20 new aircraft in 2025.

Currently, Etihad has a fleet of 98 aircraft including 43 Boeing 787 aircraft, 15 A321s, 14 Boeing 777s, 14 A320s, seven A380s, and five A350-1000. These planes feature some of the most simple, distinctive, and extraordinary liveries.
