ABU DHABI- Etihad Airways (EY) reported a record profit after tax of AED 685 million (USD 187 million) in Q1 2025, reflecting a 30% YoY increase. The airline also achieved its highest ever customer satisfaction scores, driven by improvements across airport, onboard, and digital touchpoints.

Passenger numbers rose to 5.0 million with a load factor of 87%, supported by an expanded fleet including the Airbus A380 and A350-1000. Etihad’s network now spans 80 destinations, with 16 new routes planned for 2025.

Etihad Customer Experience

Customer satisfaction at Etihad Airways (EY) reached an all-time high in Q1 2025, with scores improving by 20% YoY.

This leap was driven by enhancements across key touchpoints, including streamlined check-in processes, smoother transfers, and upgraded lounge facilities at Zayed International Airport (AUH).

The introduction of new lounge and inflight menus, enhanced Wi-Fi, and updated inflight entertainment systems further elevated the guest experience.
