LONDON- Flag carrier of United Kingdom (UK) British Airways (BA) has announced plans to update their aircraft for several U.S. destinations starting October 27.
By updating their aircraft for key U.S. destinations, they are ensuring that travelers can enjoy the latest innovations and amenities during their journey. Whether you’re headed to Baltimore, New Orleans, or Dallas, you can look forward to a smooth and enjoyable flight with British Airways.
British Airways 777 to US Routes
British Airways is known for its commitment to providing passengers with a comfortable and efficient travel experience.
With changes like the Baltimore (BWI) 777-200ER replacing the 787-8 and the New Orleans (MSY) 777-200ER also replacing the 787-8, plenty of new experiences are in store for passengers.
One of the most foreseen updates is the Dallas (DFW) route, where the 777-300ER will replace the A380 until December 31.

Where does BA fly to in the USA?
British Airways stands out as the largest European airline operating flights to the US.
An analysis of scheduling data from OAG for the upcoming summer season, starting March 31 for airlines in the northern hemisphere based on IATA slot seasons, reveals that BA will offer up to 329 weekly departing flights, roughly equivalent to 47 daily flights.
There are a total of 24 routes departing from London Heathrow and four from London Gatwick. It’s worth noting that these figures exclude routes involving the transatlantic joint-venture partner American Airlines (AA).
The Airbus A380 aircraft is scheduled to operate on routes to Boston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Miami, and San Francisco. Notably, only Dallas, Fort Worth, and Miami routes will exclusively feature A380 aircraft.

From Heathrow:
- Eight daily flights to New York JFK
- Triple daily flights to Boston, Chicago O’Hare, and Los Angeles
- Double daily flights to Houston Intercontinental, Newark, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington Dulles
- Daily flights to Orlando
- Daily flights to Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Dallas, Fort Worth, Denver, Las Vegas, Miami, Nashville, Philadelphia, Portland, and Phoenix
- Daily flights to New York JFK and Tampa
- Six weekly flights to Pittsburgh
- Five weekly flights to Cincinnati
- Three to five weekly flights to New Orleans
- Las Vegas flights are operated on a variable frequency basis
From Gatwick:
- Four daily flights to New York JFK
