British Airways Crew Mistakenly Booked Into S*x Motel in Milan

5 godzin temu

LONDON- A shocking accommodation error by British Airways (BA) left 12 of its crew members, including pilots and flight attendants, booked into a s*x-themed motel in Milan (MXP) instead of their standard hotel.

The mistaken booking triggered a disturbing overnight experience filled with loud sexual activity, unsafe surroundings, and unsuitable room conditions.

British Airways, whose operations are typically meticulous regarding layover accommodations, admitted to the booking mix-up. The confusion arose due to similarly named properties, resulting in the crew being sent to a motel known for its adult entertainment features.

British Airways Crew Booked the Wrong Motel

According to The Sun, the crew was supposed to be accommodated at the Mo.om Hotel, a known and approved stay for BA crew.

However, due to unavailability, hotel bookers accidentally reserved rooms at the Mo.om Motel, an adult establishment with hourly room rentals, B*SM decor, and facilities catering to erotic fantasies.

Crew members arriving at the motel were reportedly shocked by the sight of bondage furniture, mirrored ceilings, leather harnesses, and even “human dog cages.” The environment was starkly inappropriate for professional airline personnel.

As night fell, crew members were kept awake by loud noises from neighboring rooms. Described as a 24-hour “o*gy,” the disturbing soundscape persisted without pause, severely impacting the rest and privacy of the flight staff.

Aside from the themed interiors, British Airways (BA) crew members also witnessed concerning activities outside the motel premises. Reports mention the presence of prostitutes, drug activity, and “suspicious fluids” inside the rooms.

The experience left many of the crew members disturbed and sleep-deprived, unable to rest between flights, a serious concern for an airline that emphasizes operational safety and crew welfare.

British Airways Response

British Airways acknowledged the error in a statement:

“A small number of crew were moved to unapproved hotel rooms due to availability issues with our usual provider, without our knowledge. We are urgently investigating to prevent a repeat.”

This incident has raised questions about BA’s layover booking system. The airline is known for its strict internal protocols, including a ban on crew posting photos of their accommodations to avoid security breaches through AI tracking.

Ironically, in attempting to protect its crew from hypothetical threats, the airline inadvertently exposed them to a real-world safety lapse.

Calls for Accountability

The incident underscores the importance of stringent verification processes in crew accommodation booking, especially for international layovers.

Industry analysts suggest airlines should have multiple verification steps and ensure on-ground coordination before dispatching crew to new or alternative locations.

While British Airways investigates, stakeholders are demanding accountability and revised protocols to prevent a recurrence. The safety and dignity of aviation crew remain non-negotiable, and this incident serves as a stark reminder of operational gaps that need urgent fixing.
