The fatal accident occurred at 9:30 a.m. on Monday while the employee performed duties on the aircraft apron.

A ground service worker at Helsinki Airport met a fatal end early Saturday morning when they became trapped between an Airbus A350-900 and a lavatory service vehicle. The incident transpired following the arrival of Finnair flight AY62 from Tokyo Haneda at 4:21 a.m. on November 2, 2024.
The accident involved a five-year-old Airbus A350-900, registered as OH-LWO, distinguished by its Moomin livery.
