SEATTLE- Alaska Airlines (AS) will introduce new nonstop service between Seattle (SEA) and Seoul Incheon (ICN), commencing September 12, 2025.
The airline will operate the route using Hawaiian Airlines’ (HA) Airbus A330-200 widebody aircraft, marking a significant expansion of its international network.

The strategic route launch coincides with the approaching Chuseok holiday, South Korea’s equivalent of Thanksgiving, enabling travelers to conveniently visit family and friends during this important cultural celebration.
The flight schedule offers multiple weekly departures, providing flexible travel options for passengers.
Flight Schedule Details:
- Outbound (Seattle to Seoul Incheon):
- Departure: 3:25 p.m.
- Arrival: 6:50 p.m. (+1 day)
- Days of Operation: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Return (Seoul Incheon to Seattle):
- Departure: 8:50 p.m.
- Arrival: 3:00 p.m.
- Days of Operation: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Andrew Harrison, Chief Commercial Officer at Alaska Airlines, emphasized the company’s ambitious global expansion strategy.
By 2030, the airline aims to serve at least 12 nonstop international destinations from its Seattle hub, which currently stands as the largest airline hub on the West Coast, connecting 104 nonstop destinations across North America.
The Seoul Incheon route represents a pivotal step in Alaska Airlines’ vision to transform Seattle into a premier West Coast global gateway. Additionally, the airline plans to launch daily flights to Tokyo Narita (NRT) on May 12, further strengthening its international presence.
Future plans include introducing the Boeing 787 Dreamliner to the Seattle-Seoul Incheon route, promising enhanced travel experiences for passengers.
