HAMBURG- Airbus has revealed an innovative first-class cabin design for its flagship A350-1000 aircraft, responding to growing market demand for premium travel options.
The new concept transforms the front section of the aircraft into an exclusive space featuring unique suite arrangements and luxury amenities.

Airbus A350-1000 First Class Cabin Design
“1-1-1” Cabin Layout
The new design introduces a “1-1-1” configuration with 3 suites positioned side by side across the wide body of the A350-1000. This arrangement maximizes the available space between Doors 1 and 2, creating a truly premium environment for travelers seeking the highest level of comfort.
Airbus is showcasing this vision to potential customers through 3D Augmented Reality (AR) displays at the Aircraft Interiors Expo, allowing airline representatives to virtually step inside and experience the concept firsthand.

The Master Suite
The highlight of the new design is the First Class Master Suite, developed by the Airbus in-house design team. This standout feature occupies the center position between the two aisles, accommodating two passengers in unparalleled luxury.
The Master Suite offers exclusive amenities, including:
- A dedicated private lavatory
- A personal changing area
- An integrated bar for refreshments
- A full double bed for comfortable rest

Innovative Space Optimization
Airbus engineers have reimagined the front cabin area to maximize passenger space. They relocated essential facilities that previously occupied valuable floor area into a new Center Module positioned behind Doors 1, opposite the cockpit entrance.
These relocated elements include:
- Lavatories
- Storage compartments
- Access stairs to the Forward Crew Rest Compartment
This thoughtful reorganization not only creates more usable space for the First Class cabin but also enhances privacy by reducing crew movement through the premium section.

Enhanced Cabin Ambience
The A350-1000’s naturally spacious cabin with high ceilings provides an ideal foundation for a premium product. The First Class concept further enhances this environment with:
- Custom fascia panels
- Sculptured ceiling elements
- Integrated welcome lighting at the entrance
- Design elements that emphasize the sense of space
These features combine to create a distinctive atmosphere that reinforces the exclusive nature of the First Class experience.
Customer-Driven Development
Airbus presented this concept to gather feedback from potential airline customers. The company aims to use this input to refine the design further, ensuring it meets the evolving expectations of airlines and their most discerning passengers.
The A350-1000, Airbus’s largest passenger aircraft currently in production, offers the perfect platform for implementing such premium concepts. Its wide body, efficient operations, and long-range capabilities make it increasingly popular for airlines wanting to offer a true flagship experience on their most prestigious routes.

Bottom Line
This First Class concept represents Airbus’ vision for the future of premium air travel, combining innovative design, thoughtful space utilization, and luxurious amenities to create what they describe as “the ultimate First Class product.”
