SEPANG- AirAsia (AK) has unveiled another significant milestone in its expansion into India, introducing two new routes to the renowned cities of Kozhikode (CCJ) and Guwahati (GAU).

These additions mark the airline’s 14th and 15th routes to the country, contributing to its rapidly expanding network in West Asia. The inaugural flights will commence on 1 August 2024, operating thrice weekly.

AirAsia New Routes to India

Kozhikode and Guwahati, each boasting unique charm and rich cultural heritage, offer diverse experiences for travelers.

Kozhikode, also known as Calicut, nestled in the heart of Kerala state in southern India, entices visitors with its vibrant spice markets, delectable Malabar cuisine, and historic architecture.

Recognized as India’s first UNESCO-designated city of literature, Kozhikode is steadfastly committed to nurturing culture and creativity, welcoming guests with renowned Kerala hospitality, captivating sunsets, and panoramic vistas.

Equally captivating is Guwahati, located in the northeastern state of Assam. Surrounded by natural splendor, the city draws visitors with its picturesque views of the majestic Brahmaputra River, a symbol of pride for Guwahati. Further, the city boasts sacred religious sites such as the Kamakhya, Umananda, and Hajo temples, adding to its allure.

Furthermore, to commemorate this milestone in the signature AirAsia style, the airline is thrilled to offer FREE* seats from Kuala Lumpur to Kozhikode and Guwahati, with starting fares as low as RM201*, and from the two cities to Kuala Lumpur, starting from INR4,132*. This promotion enables guests to explore both countries affordably.

Bookings are open until 5 May 2024, with travel dates available from 1 August to 17 June 2025.
