PHNOM PENH- AirAsia (AK), the leading budget carrier in Asia, has announced the launch of the 7th subsidiary carrier in Cambodia today (May 1, 2024). AirAsia Cambodia (KT) is set to commence its commercial flight operations from tomorrow (May 2, 2024).
Starting with a fleet of two Airbus A320s, the airline will commence operations from Phnom Penh International Airport (PNH), providing connectivity for travelers to prominent destinations such as Siem Reap (SAI) and Sihanoukville (KOS), as well as to other cities via hubs in Kuala Lumpur (KUL) and Bangkok (BKK).

The launch of the new airline marks a significant milestone for the AirAsia Group, aligning with its recently unveiled “ONE Airline” strategy.
AirAsia Cambodia is now poised to emerge as a prominent player in the realm of low-cost air travel, both domestically and internationally.
