Special Photos at Notable Places

Air India’s cabin crew has executed a strategic promotional campaign highlighting the Delhi-Newark route launch through recreations of iconic New York City film moments. The campaign connects aviation heritage with cinematic history across seven significant locations.

The crew reimagined the historic 1932 ‘Lunch Atop a Skyscraper’ photograph at Rockefeller Plaza, capturing the spirit of New York’s architectural legacy. At Central Park’s Gapstow Bridge, they revisited scenes from “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” and “The Devil Wears Prada,” establishing connections with contemporary cinema.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s grand staircase served as a backdrop, referencing scenes from “Gossip Girl,” “Ocean’s 8,” and “When Harry Met Sally.” Times Square’s location shoot incorporated references to “Vanilla Sky,” “Friends with Benefits,” and Bollywood’s “Kal Ho Naa Ho,” bridging Eastern and Western cinema.

New York’s yellow taxis featured prominently, symbolizing urban mobility and cinematic storytelling. The Pierre Hotel’s Rotunda Room recreation paid homage to “Scent of a Woman’s” iconic tango scene. The campaign concluded at Sutton Place Park beneath Queensboro Bridge, recreating the memorable dawn scene from “Manhattan.” See the images here.
