MONTREAL– Air Canada (AC) has launched its newest Air Canada Café at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL), offering domestic travelers a premium pre-flight experience.

Located near Gate A2, the 58-seat space combines local culinary flair with modern amenities, including workspaces and rapid charging ports.

Eligible passengers, including business class travelers, Aeroplan elite members, and Star Alliance Gold customers, gain access via boarding pass scan. The café emphasizes Montréal’s culture through curated snacks, locally brewed beverages, and collaborative design with Provencher Roy, a Montréal-based firm.

Air Canada continues to enhance its lounge network by introducing the Air Canada Café at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL).

This marks the airline’s third such location, reinforcing its focus on convenience, efficiency, and regional flavors.

Designed for passengers on domestic flights, the Air Canada Café provides a sophisticated yet efficient environment.

Eligible travelers can access the space by scanning their boarding passes at the eGates, eliminating unnecessary delays.

The lounge features productivity-focused seating, ensuring passengers can work comfortably before boarding.

The Air Canada Café menu embraces the rich culinary culture of Montréal while catering to a variety of dietary preferences. Offerings include:

  • Warm pistachio cream croissants and freshly made vegetarian wraps
  • Mini cheese boards and fresh salads
  • Iconic Montréal-style bagels and smoked meat sandwiches
  • Clearly labeled ingredients and allergen information, accessible via QR code

For beverages, the lounge features:

  • A self-serve station with locally brewed beer, cider, and non-alcoholic drinks, including Gutsy Kombucha
  • Lavazza specialty coffees and nitro cold brew

  • A sleek interior inspired by Montréal’s dynamic café culture

Developed in collaboration with the Montréal-based design firm Provencher Roy, the Air Canada Café incorporates elements that celebrate the city’s creative spirit.

Notable design features include:

  • Custom abstract artwork by Montréal-born artist Melanie Authier
  • Locally manufactured hanging light fixtures that highlight Québec craftsmanship

Who Can Access the Air Canada Café?

Access is reserved for Air Canada business class passengers, Aeroplan 50K/75K/Super Elite members, Star Alliance Gold customers, and premium Aeroplan cardholders.

Air Canada is actively investing in expanding and modernizing its lounge offerings worldwide. By the end of 2025, the airline plans to add over 500 additional lounge seats, ensuring more travelers can experience its premium services.
