BUSAN- A fire erupted in the tail section of an Air Busan (BX) Airbus A321 at Gimhae International Airport in Busan, South Korea on Tuesday night.

The incident occurred at 10:30 p.m. as the aircraft prepared for its scheduled flight to Hong Kong (HKG).

Emergency protocols were activated immediately, leading to the successful evacuation of all 176 passengers and crew members from the aircraft. Fire response teams rushed to the scene and began containment operations.

As per the unconfirmed reports the flight involved in the incident is BX391 operated by Airbus A321-231 registered as HL7729, powered by IAE engines.

Local authorities confirmed the absence of injuries or casualties during the evacuation process. Fire suppression efforts continue as emergency responders work to fully extinguish the blaze in the aircraft’s tail section.

The incident has drawn attention to aviation safety procedures at Gimhae International Airport while demonstrating the effectiveness of emergency evacuation protocols. The cause of the fire remains under investigation as firefighters complete their containment efforts.
